When you would add a second pair of stations like pictured in
Figure 1-7 on page 1-11, these stations should be configured in a
similar way, for example:
■
Station C gets IP Address 10.10.10.131
■
Station D gets IP Address 10.10.10.132
Each station should be "bound" to the IP Address of its Link
Partner.
When exchanging messages, the stations A & B will filter out
wireless traffic exchanged by the neighboring pair (C&D), and
process only those messages as received from their own link
partner.
Broadcast Topology 1
In broadcast topology (also described as “party-line” or “multiple-
drop” topology), you assign the same broadcast address to
multiple stations equipped with the WaveLAN/EC-S device.
