Set the WaveLAN Parameters

When you are running a network operating system that requires
you to assign dedicated MAC Address values to networking
devices, you can use the option “Local MAC Address” values to
assign a user-defined MAC Address value.
The Local MAC address value will override, not overwrite, the
Universal MAC Address value. Consult your LAN Administrator for
the settings/value that applies in your networking environment.
AP Density 3
The Access Point Density parameter controls the roaming
sensitivity of your wireless station. This parameter should be set
according to match:

The density of the WavePOINT-II access points that have
been installed throughout the wireless network area, and
■
The setting of this parameter in the configuration of the access
points.
Consult your LAN Administrator for the appropriate values that
apply to your network. Valid values are:

Low (default)
■
Medium
■
High

CAUTION:
Using non-matching values may seriously affect wireless
performance of your wireless station.
