The normal configuration for a channel bank is now complete.
Press ESC and save the configuration.

Note:

 If common channel signaling is used, time slot 16 can be used to carry the signaling channel.

However, to insert the signaling channel, a data card, such as a V.35 card, must be plugged into one
of the ports. PORT A must be configured to NON-CAS and time slot 16 of PORT A must be labeled d
for data. The port taken by the data card will decrease the number of available voice channels carried
to 28.

Finally, the new configurations should be STORED so they will not be deleted upon a power reset.
Press ESC to return to the main menu.
Press “R” to activate the Store/Retrieve Configuration screen
