b) T o register a new handset, follow these steps :
• “ NOT REGD ” flashes on-scr een.
• Press and hold the key on the base until flashes (approximately 10 seconds).
• Press key (7) .
• “ REGISTER ” is displayed on-scr een.
• Press key (7) .
• " BS 1 2 3 4 " is displayed on the LCD scr een.
• Enter the number of the base onto which you want to save the handset using the
alphanumeric keypad.
• "CODE" is displayed on-scr een.
• Enter the new PIN code using the alphanumeric keypad
(the default PIN code is
0000)
• Press key (7) .
• “ SEARCH X ” is displayed on-scr een. (X is the number of the searched base).
• When the base is identified, press key
(7)
to validate the r egistration.

4-3 Registering a handset onto a base
The user must know the PIN code for this function.
A maximum of 2 handsets may be r egistered with a base.

The handset is alr eady registered with a base
• Press and hold the key on the base until the indicator light flashes (approximately
10 seconds).
• Press key (7)

• Use key ( 6) until "MENU ENREGIS" is displayed on-scr een.
• Press key (7) .
• “ REGISTER ” is displayed on-scr een.

• Enter the number of the base onto which you want to register the handset using the
alphanumeric keypad.
