2-10 Personalising the handset
This function allows you to give your handset a name. The handset’
s name must not be
more than 5 characters.
The default name of the handset is “DECT”

The handset is on standby (no call tone).

2-9 Using the alphanumeric keypad
Some functions such as the phone book or the handset name r
equire the alphanumeric
keypad to be used. The keypad automatically goes into alphanumeric mode when you
enter one of these functions. To enter a letter, press the relevant key on the keypad as
many times as necessary.
For example:
- To enter an A, press once on 2
- To enter a B, press twice on 2
- To enter A followed by B, enter an A, wait until the cursor reaches the next character
then enter a B.
Press 1 to enter a space.
Press 1 twice to enter a dash.
