INSTALLING THE Ti-ANODE  

 

Refer to photographs found on pages 6 and 7 for additional guidance. 

 

1.

 

Layout components found in the Correx

® 

box ensure all components are present 

before starting installation. 

  

 

2.

 

Remove plastic cap surrounding anode (Left hand side) 

3.

 

Remove the sacrificial magnesium anode (27mm) 

4.

 

Fit the Ti-Anode (item No.2) Sealant should be applied. 

5.

 

Torque anode to 28 Nm 

 

 

DO NOT tighten over 28Nm otherwise the Correx may not operate correctly

INSTALLING THE CORREX

®

 POWER ANODE BOX  

 

1.

 

Mount the Correx

®

 Power Anode Box (Item No.1) to the left hand side of the Water 

heater door. 

2.

 

Mark and drill hole in order to mount the control box (Photo 3) 

3.

 

Using the screws provided (Item No.3) secure the Correx

®

 Power Anode Box to the 

unit. 

4.

 

Refit the plastic cap surrounding the anode and connect the Ti-anode spade 
connection onto the Ti-anode. 

5.

 

Mark and drill hole for earth wire on the top of the tank (Photo 5) 

6.

 

Using the last remaining screw fix the earth wire to the top of the tank. 

7.

 

Tidy up any loose wiring, this can be placed behind the Correx

®

 Power Anode Box 

8.

 

Remove the front cover from the Correx

®

 power anode Box (Item No.1). 

9.

 

Conduct a continuity check from the potentiostat to the Ti-anode and from the 
Potentiostat to the cathode bonding strap and tank body to ensure sound connections. 

You may need to remove the spade connectors on the potentiostat to do this.  

10.

 

Replace front cover.
