11. OPTIONAL ACCUMULATOR INTERFACE
If the Blaze Air has been shipped with a Part Accumulator Interface, then it will include two
signals that are sent from the Accumulator to the Blaze Air.
In order for the Blaze Air to react to these interface signals, Parameter 7: Accumulator Y/N must
be set to 1. Refer to
Section 5.6: Menu: Setup Parameters
for changing setup values.
Wiring:
The Part Accumulator is pre-wired with one interface conduit. These connections will have to be
made according to the electrical prints
. Failure to correctly re-wire these connections will
damage the Accumulator electrical devices.
Signals:
Input: Part Accumulator Ready
This is a contact closure that signals the Blaze Air that the Part Accumulator is running in
automatic mode. If there is a fault while the Blaze Air is running in Auto Mode, a latched fault
will stop the Blaze Air after the next part is unloaded. The display will indicate that the
Accumulator is not ready. This fault will not be indicated on the Blaze Air when it is in Manual
Mode or Off. If the Accumulator has a fault when the operator tries to start the Blaze Air, it will
not start and the fault message will be displayed.
Input: Part Accumulator Full
This is a contact closure that signals the Blaze Air that the Part Accumulator is full of parts. This
will not stop the Blaze Air. If the Accumulator is not reset within the Bin Removal time period,
the Accumulator will stop running and the Blaze Air will display an Accumulator Full message.
Wiring schematics and further documentation is included with the Part Accumulator.
