SAFETY SWITCHES

MAIN ACCESS COVER SAFETY SENSOR (SQ10)
This sensor should be mounted on the bar feeder body and the latch mounted on the movable cover. When the cover is
closed, NO contact will be engaged. When the main access cover is open, NO contact will be disengaged and e01 will arise.
Besides, NC contact will be engaged, sending signal to PLC input contact X26 and e30 will arise. Once an alarm arises, the
bar feeder will be switched from auto to manual mode.
Wire connection:
• T2, T3

black, white wires
• 126, +24

brown, blue wires
MAGAZINE COVER SAFETY SENSOR (SQ11)
The sensor should be mounted on the magazine and the latch should be mounted on the protection grid. When the grid is
closed, NO contact will be engaged. When the gird is open, NO contact will be disengaged and e01 will arise. Besides, NC
contact will be engaged, sending signal to PLC input contact X27 and e32 will arise. Once an alarm arises, the bar feeder will
be switched from auto to manual mode.
Wire connection:
• T3, 9

black, white wires
• 127, +24

brown, blue wires
RETRACTION SYSTEM SAFETY SENSOR (SQ12)
The sensor should be mounted on the bar feeder stand and the latch should be mounted on the retraction system. When the
retraction system is at the locked position, NO contact will be closed and keep the emergency stop circuit closed. When it
leaves the locked position, NO contact will be disengaged and e01 will arise. Besides, NC contact will be engaged, sending
signal to PLC input contact X15 and e31 will arise. Once an alarm arises, the bar feeder will be switched from auto to manual
mode.
Wire connection:
• T1, T2

black, white wires
• 115, +24,

brown, blue wires
