SERVICE MANUAL – ALPHA SL 65S

POSITIONING

The bar feeder must be placed behind the lathe as closer as it could be. The maximum distance between the lathe and bar
feeder should not exceed 20mm (A) dimension. In the other words, the bar stock length should not exceed spindle length.

If the bar feeder is equipped with retraction system, please position the bar feeder after the retraction is locked on the bar
feeder.
