Maintenance and servicing
of the caravan
Maintenance intervals
– The “first service” should be carried out by an
LMC authorised dealer 12 months after acquisi-
tion of the vehicle.
– All other services should be carried out once a
year.
– Servicing of the caravan and all the installed
equipment should be carried out in accordance
with the service intervals specified in the rele-
vant operating instructions.
Warning!
– The gas installation should be checked over
every two years by a liquid gas technician. Per-
formance of this test must be confirmed on the
test certificate in accordance with DGVW G 607
or G 608. The caravan owner is responsible for
ensuring that checks are carried out at the right
times.
The safety gas regulator should be replaced no
later than after six years.
Lubrication
Every 2,500 km, and at least once a year, the
following lubrication work should be carried out.
– lubricate spindle of the turn-out support;
– lubricate grease points on the overrunning unit;
– lubricate connecting rod of the overrunning unit
below the rubber collar;
– grease handbrake lever.
Chassis
– The caravan should be cleaned using commer-
cially available cleaners, waxes and polishes
that you also used to clean your car.
– We recommend that you occasionally treat the
surfaces of the metal parts with commercially
available anti-corrosion agents.
– Do not spray the chassis directly with the
water jet in the vicinity of the refrigerator venti-
lation. Prior to washing, it is sensible to put on
the cover (see page 29).
