External reset
Alarms and faults
cannot
be reset on the front panel of the
SCU 835
. For this reason, the external reset input on
P401
must
be connected to the
FACP
in order to acknowledge any alarms and reset the device to its initial position
(→ 3.15).
Attention
Alarms are
not
reset automatically!
Alarms can only be reset if the corresponding alarm criterion is no longer fulfilled. In other words, the cur-
rent temperature value
must be 20% below
the set differential alarm threshold or
5% below
the max-
imum alarm threshold.
Faults are
not
reset automatically.
Faults can
only
be reset, if the reason for the fault has been cleared.
