Attention
When mounting the sensor control unit
SCU 835
, use only the mounting holes
as provided.
Use only the supplied cable glands.
Observe test torques at box / cable for cable glands:
Cable gland M25 → 5 Nm at 20 °C.
Cable gland M20 → 4.5 Nm at 20 °C, split cable gland M20 → 4 Nm at 20 °C.
Cable gland M20 with 5-9 mm clamping range as well as M16 → 3 Nm at 20 °C.
Cover screws → 3 Nm at 20 °C.
Do not drill any holes into the connection box.
Close unused openings with plugs / conical silicone plugs.
Use the accompanying seals when inserting glands and plugs.
Provide sufficient space for cable bending radius (
25 cm
for
SEC 15
).
In case of non-observance, any warranty for the IP 65 protection is void!

Drill
four
holes for plastic dowels
Ø 6x30 mm
.
Use a hammer to drive the dowels into the brickwork / concrete as far as possible.
Position the sensor control unit
SCU 835
, aligning the mounting holes and the dowel openings.
