WARNING 

 

Accidental starting of the grinding motors during readjustment 

Severe injuries due to rotating grinding belts. 

  Before maintenance and repair work is started, the machine must be 

switched off. 

  Secure the machine against restart by other people. 

  Only entrust the work to authorised personnel. 

 

7.1 G-unit

The tools are driven via drive belts. These drive belts must be inspected at 
regular intervals (see service intervals, section 8.1) and if necessary retightened 
or replaced.  

 

7.1.1 

Retighten the G-unit drive belt 

 

 

 

NOTE 

 

Risk of property damage 

Defective, worn or not correctly tensioned drive belts can damage the unit or 
its components. 

  Check for proper drive belt length. 

  Replace defective or worn drive belts immediately.

  Remove the side clamping screws (1). 

  Tighten the drive belts (3) with the adjustment screw (2). 

  Retighten the clamping screws (1) again.
