6 Changing abrasives
WARNING
Accidental starting of the grinding motors during replacement of
abrasives
Severe injuries due to rotating grinding belts.

Switch off the main switch before setting, or changing tools of the E or G-
units.

Only entrust the work to qualified and authorised personnel.
6.1 Replacing G units grinding belts
Changing the grinding belt is shown on the upper G unit. Changing the grinding
belt in the lower G unit is identical.
The upper and lower G-units must be moved to a material thickness of "15 mm"
to change the grinding belts (see 5.2.3).

1 Tensioning screws

Set material thickness to "15 mm" (see section 5.2.3).

Turn off the machine (main switch).

Loosen the tensioning screws (1) and relax the grinding belt.

Remove the grinding belt.
Only use original grinding media from the manufacturer!

Insert a new grinding belt, check the running direction!

Tension the grinding belt using the tensioning screws (1), (max. 2 Nm).

Set the running of the grinding belt (1).

The grinding belt must run centrally on the deflecting roller.
