Liquiflo FTS Transfer Pump User Manual
Series No. FTS300

Bearing Lubrication - continued

Start the pump and allow the system to reach operational temperature.
When the pump temperature has stabilized, connect a standard grease
gun to each grease fitting and pump grease through the bearing set
until fresh grease is visible at the open grease exit port.

When lubrication of all three bearing sets is complete, allow the pump
to run for at least five minutes. Replace the sealing screws when the
pump temperature has dropped to a safe level.

The timing gear oil may be changed while the pump is installed.
1.

Shut the pump down and allow it to cool to a safe temperature.

2.

Follow the steps on page 16 of this manual to drain the gear oil.

3.

Follow the steps on page 42 of this manual to fill the gear oil.
