RS485-Termination Jumpers
Connector type:
IDC4 pin header 2.0 mm
Matching connector:
Use 2 mm jumpers to terminate lines correctly.
IDC4 pin female connector 2.0 mm
There are two jumpers COM1 and COM2, respectively.
The RS485 termination jumpers are located at the top of the printed circuit board, see chapter 2.2
When the jumper is set, the differential pairs
are terminated with 120
Ω
between them.
(e.g. RX+ and RX-)
Additionally, positive/negative receive lines are pulled up/down with 1k
Ω
to
5V/GND in order to protect the transceivers of the Cool SpaceRunner-
LX800 from over voltage.
It is recommended to protect the ports of the external device in the same
way!
Caution
: Termination Resistors should not be used in RS232 Mode!
Otherwise, the serial ports will not work.

Parallel Port LPT
The parallel port is located on an IDC26 header. An adapter cable with a standard DSUB-25 female connector is
available.
The parallel port is programmable in BIOS.
