Each command you record can be one of the following:
To record this Press this
A single key press Press the key for less than one second.
An extended key press command Press the key for more than one second.
A one second delay Press the
MACRO
handset control key.
The MACRO indicator will flash once for each command you record.
Use an extended key press command if you want to record a source selection
key press that also selects the source on your amplifier.
Record a delay if the equipment you are controlling needs a delay before receiving
the next command. For example, after sending a command to bring a VCR out of
standby you may need a short delay before sending the PLAY command.
Each macro can record up to 10 commands. When you have entered 9 commands
both the MACRO and LEARN indicators will flash slowly to warn you that the
macro is nearly full. If you enter a tenth command the macro is automatically
saved.
To save the macro
When you have finished entering the macro:

Press the LEARN handset control key.
Both the MACRO and LEARN indicators will turn off to show that the macro has
been saved.
