Digital Filter and HDCD® decoding
The Linn Sondek CD12 employs a Digital Filter that gives consistent high-
performance audio whether decoding standard “Red Book” CDs or HDCD
encoded CDs.
On detection of an HDCD® encoded disc, the Sondek CD12 will illuminate
HDCD on the front panel display.
