If you leave the drawer
open for more than two
minutes it will close
automatically to protect
the disc from dust.
To remove the disc
●
Press OPEN .
The display shows:
You can do this whether or not a disc is playing.
The drawer will then open, and you can remove the disc.
● Press OPEN again to close the drawer.

To play the disc
● Press PLAY .
The display shows the number of the
track and index being played; for example:
If the track is HDCD encoded the HDCD indicator will be lit.
To pause the disc

Press PAUSE .
The display shows the PAUSE indicator.
To continue playing
● Press PLAY .
If you leave the CD player
paused for more than five
minutes the disc will stop
playing to prolong the life
of the laser, and the
PAUSE indicator on the
display will flash. You can
resume play from the last
position by pressing PLAY.
