It follows that, for 384 revolutions (16,384 - 2 * 8,000 = 384), the encoder will
operate within the "Red Zone" limits.
NOTE
•
When the encoder is operating within the limits of the “Red Zone” (i.e.
for 50,000 cpr * 384 revolutions = 19 200 000 counts, from 380 799 999
to 399 999 999), the transmitted position is consistent with the set
resolution: it is calculated so that the last position within the “red zone”
before crossing the zero position is
- 1.

Please be careful using the position information sent by the encoder
when it is operating within the limits of the “Red Zone”. When the
encoder changes from normal status to the “Red Zone” status (and vice
versa) a jump of position occurs. See the Figure above: when entering
the “red zone” the position information jumps from 399 999 999 to 380
799 999.
