Ethernet Installation

Activate the 3104P or 5104P Ethernet interface by typing,

telnet

xx.xx.xx.xx 1

(replace x’s with the IP address to be used for the

3104P or 5104P) and press

Enter

. This command will cause a

connect error but is required to establish communications.

Enter

. This command

accesses the telnet port of the 3104P or 5104P. The expected
error message from Step 9. is shown in the example screen below.

too slowly, you’ll have to repeat step 10.
