Refrigerant Charge
• Both vapor and liquid piping to be vacuumed.
• Always add the appropriate amount of refrigerant when adding an
additional refrigerant charge. Too much or too little refrigerant will
cause system malfunction.
If the added refrigerant charge is more than 10% over the neces-
sary amount, indoor unit operation may malfunction.
If the added refrigerant charge is more than 10% over the necessary
amount, the condenser will rupture, which may cause physical injury
or death.
