Vacuum Mode
Vacuum mode is used for creating vacuum in the system after the compressor or other outdoor unit parts have been replaced, or if an indoor
unit has been added to or replaced.
Turn No. 5 on Outdoor Unit DIP Switch to ON.

Choose “SVC” by pushing the

Start the vacuum mode “VACC”. Outdoor Unit
valves and EEV should be open. Indoor Units
EEVs should be open.

Set DIP Switch No. 5 to Off, and push the reset
button on the Outdoor Unit PCB.
• All valves in the indoor and outdoor units will be opened when the
Vacuum Mode is set.
• Outdoor unit operation mode stops during Vacuum Mode; compres-
sor can’t operate.
• After moving and installing the system to another site, recharge the
refrigerant after perfect vacuum. If a different refrigerant or air is

function and damage the unit.
• Always add the appropriate amount of refrigerant when adding an
additional refrigerant charge. Too much or too little refrigerant will
cause system malfunction.
