CEC Setup
Use the
button to select the CEC Setup .

- Determines whether to use TVLink-CEC . The default value is No . When No is selected, you cannot
set subitems .
(1) control
- Determines whether to decode the LG remote control . If No is selected, the TV does not decode it and
sends signals only to the IR Out port . You need to run Forced Initialize below once to apply it .
If Yes is selected, the TV decodes and changes it into a CEC Message and sends it to Command via
the HDMI CEC Line . The default value is No .
(2) Ir Decoding
- Sets the custom code used for NEC Format of the remote control . The default value is 4 .
The TV remote control that LG is currently using is 4 so this item is always set to 4 and disabled .
(3) custom code
- Sets the ID of a device connected to the TVLink-CEC Line . You can choose between 1 and E .
The default value is E .
(4) Device ID
- If No is selected, a command should be sent and received between the TV and a -device for proper
initialization .
If Yes is selected, initialization is implemented when a device receives a command . If initialization is
not implemented, the TV remote control and local key will work .
