22 Operation and settings
Edit the Server
1. Select the server on the list.
2. Click the [Edit] button.
3. Specify the Server Name.
4. Click the [OK] button to exit the window.
Remove the Server
1. Select the server on the list.
2. Click the [Remove] button. The selected server is removed.
Assign the device to the Server
1. Click the [Assign] button of the Server menu. The Device Assign window is displayed.
2. Select the required device on the Device List. If you want to assign the all device, check
the [Select All] option.
3. Select the recording server from the drop-down list.
4. Click the [ ] button. If you want to release it, select the device or check the [Select All]
option and then click the [ ] button.
• Current recording device/Total recordable device: Indicate the number of current
assigned device and recordable device on the basis of license.
5. Click the [OK] button to exit the window.
Device Status setting
You can check the current device status. If you want to check the abnormal device status,
press the [Status] button and then you can view the result on the [Device Status] column.
