Location and function of controls

Front panel

1. MAIN POWER

switches the set on or off.

2. CASSETTE COMPARTMENT

To insert a video cassette tape here.

3. STANDBY INDICATOR

illuminates red when the set is in standby mode.
blinks red when the set is in child lock mode.

4. POWER

switches the set on from standby or off to standby.

5. REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR
6. EJECT

ejects the tape.

7. REC/ITR

starts a manual recording or instant timer recording.

8. REC/ITR INDICATOR

illuminates red during recording.

9. STOP

stops the tape.

10. REW (REWIND/REVIEW)

rewinds the tape in the stop mode.
reviews fast the tape during playback.

11. PLAY

plays back the tape.

12. FF (FAST FORWARD/CUE)

winds the tape forward in the stop mode.
fast forward playback.

13. PAUSE/STILL

stops the tape temporarily during recording.
displays a still picture during playback.

14. MENU

selects a menu.

15. TIMER ST-BY INDICATOR

illuminates in standby mode when the timer programme is set
for recording.

16. OK

accepts your selection or displays the current mode.

17. VOLUME UP/DOWN

adjusts the volume.
