Establishing Potential Equalisation

In the case of operation with a frequency converter and ground leakage
currents of over 3.5 mA, the protective ground conductor must have a
cross-section of the least 10 mm

. Or a further protective ground conduc-

tor having at least the same cross-section as the connection cable must
be provided.

A M10 thread is provided at the motor casing for connecting the external
potential equalisation cable.

The potential equalisation conductor must be connected as depicted in fig.
3.8.
