5. Ground Cable, Tuner Cable and Antenna
Cable Wiring
(a) Secure the ground cable in place with the
bolt shown in the illustration (Fig. 5-1).
(b) Pull the ground cable, the tuner cable and the
antenna cable through to the tuner attachment
area (Fig. 5-2).
(1) The tuner cable should be routed to the
rear of the vehicle as shown.
(2) The tuner cable, ground cable, and
antenna wire should be routed to the back
side of the vehicle structural panel as
shown.
(3) This should be done from a point above
the ground screw location where the
vehicle harness branches. The wire
harness should then pass between the oil
inlet and steel plate to the tuner
attachment area.
(c) Gather the ground cable, the tuner cable and
the antenna cable together, check the length
of each cable against the dimensions shown
in the illustration, and then secure them in
place with the cushion tape (Fig. 5-3).
