Item Function
If an electronic key is not detected in the vehicle when
you push the power switch, the message on the left
appears for 8 seconds.
Electronic Key System
Warning Message
If a door other than the driver’s door has been opened
or closed with the power switch in the “OFF” and key is
outside of the detection area, the message appears
with the master warning light flashes, a buzzer sounds
once and an exterior buzzer sounds three times.

If the driver’s door has been opened or closed with the
selector lever in “P”, the power switch is in any mode
other than “OFF” and key outside of the detection
area, the message appears with the master warning
light flashes, an interior buzzer sounds once and a
buzzer sounds three times.

Unengaged “P” Position
If the selector lever is not in the “P” position with the
power switch is selected in the “IG-ON” mode, the
message appears with the master warning light

If there is problem in the VGRS (Variable Gear Ratio

brake is not released.
When the vehicle speed exceeds 3 mph, the message
appears, master warning light flashes and a warning
tone sounds.

Message
If a door has been opened or closed and the power
switch has been switched twice to “ACC” mode from
“OFF”, the message appears with an interior buzzer
sounds once.

Low Windshield Washer Fluid
Level Warning Message
If the washer fluid level is low, the message appears
with the master warning light and a warning tone
sounds when the power switch is selected in the
“IG-ON” mode.

Message
If a malfunction of the hybrid system is detected, this
message appears with the master warning light
flashes and warning tone sounds when the “READY”
indicator lamp illuminated.
