B09. OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
a) Check power outside rear view mirror
operation with the power switch in the
“ACC” or “IG-ON” mode.
2. Check that the indicator light comes
on when the master switch is pushed,
and goes off when the master switch
is pushed to the same side again.
3. Check that the mirror moves
smoothly when the control switch is
pushed in the desired direction.
4. Push the mirror folding switch to fold
the mirror and push the switch again
to extend the mirror.
b) With the power switch in the “IG-ON”
mode, check that the mirrors move
down quickly by the following operation.

Put the selector lever in the “R”
position.
D
Push “L” (left mirror) or “R” (right
mirror) on the master switch.
c) Check the operation of the mirror
heaters.
HINT:
The mirror heaters are activated when
the rear window defogger is “ON”.
d) Check that the outer foot light operates
properly in the following conditions.
D
When entering the effective range
of the smart access function (about
1 m (3 ft.) from each outside door
handle) with carrying the electronic
key.
D
The doors are unlocked with the
wireless remote control.
D
The doors are unlocked with power
door lock switch on the driver’s
side.
HINT:
Check that the outer foot lights illuminate
for 15 seconds and they will go off.
