MEDIA INPUT
The Lexmark X792de Color Laser MFP comes standard
with one 550-sheet paper drawer and a 100-Sheet
Multipurpose Feeder. For high-volume printing, a 2,000-
Sheet High Capacity Feeder can be added increasing the
total capacity to 2,650 sheets. The device can
automatically feed paper weights from 60 to 176 gsm (16
to 47 lb bond) grain long. Paper lighter than 60 gsm (16 lb)
might not be stiff enough to feed properly and can result in
paper jams. For optimal performance, Lexmark
recommends the use of 75 gsm (20 lb bond) grain long
paper. For paper smaller than 182 x 257 mm (7.2 x 10.1
in.), Lexmark recommends 90 gsm (24 lb) or heavier
paper. For duplex printing, the Lexmark X792de supports a
range of paper weights between 60 g/m
2
–176 gsm (16 lb–
47 lb bond) paper. Card stock including 65 lb cover, 90 lb
Bristol, and 100 lb tag is also supported in simplex and
duplex modes.

The Lexmark X792de Color Laser MFP shown here is
equipped with one standard 550-sheet drawer and a 100-
sheet multipurpose feeder.
The 100-sheet multipurpose feeder is located on the left
side of the device. The feeder can be accessed by
lowering the tray down and can be adjusted by sliding the
levers into place. The feeder can be adjusted for envelope
printing.
The multipurpose feeder can hold several sizes and types
of print media, such as transparencies, labels, card stock,
and envelopes. It can be used for single-page or manual
printing, or as an additional tray. The multipurpose feeder
can hold approximately:
