In October 2010, Lexmark International, Inc. introduced the
new Lexmark X792 Series of color laser multifunction
products (MFPs). This new series combines fast, high-
quality color printing, copying, faxing and scanning, all in
one multifunction color workhorse. BERTL recently tested
the Lexmark X792de Color Laser MFP, which has a rated
print speed of up to 50 ppm for both color and
monochrome. Maximum monthly duty cycle is 150,000
pages and a monthly recommended page volume with a
range of 2,500 to 17,000 pages. The device features a
standard paper capacity of 650 pages, but with optional
paper handling options the paper capacity can be
expanded to 2,650 pages.
Models in this series are available in six configurations and
sold exclusively through Lexmark authorized providers and
direct marketing resellers in the United States and Canada.

Each of the models in the X792 Series contains different
features and functions. Users can choose the model that
best suits their business needs from a wide selection of
options such as the following:

Lexmark X792dte: Standard duplex, hard disk, two
550-sheet trays and caster base
Lexmark X792dtfe: Standard duplex, hard disk, two
550-sheet trays, stapling and caster base
Lexmark X792dtpe: Standard duplex, hard disk, two
550-sheet trays, stapling with hole punch and caster
base
Lexmark X792dtme: Standard duplex, hard disk, two
550-sheet trays, a five-bin mailbox and caster base
Lexmark X792dtse: Standard duplex, hard disk, two
550-sheet trays, an offset stacker and caster base
The new Lexmark X792de Color Laser MFP is designed to
be easy on the environment and offers the following

Extra large 10.2 inch (25.9 cm) Flash Color Sound and
Tactile screen, which saves precious time and helps
streamline multi-step processes

4800 Color Quality (2400 x 600 dpi)
Powerful 1.2 GHz processor and a standard Hard
Drive for expanded functionality
Powerful fax with time-saving functions, such as fax
forwarding
Preloaded applications help drive efficiency, Lexmark’s
Embedded Solutions Framework enables the MFP to
be customized with industry-specific and cross-industry
solutions
