Initialize Error Log

This test allows you to track new errors.

Use this procedure to reset the error log to zero. The error log is
especially helpful in diagnosing intermittent or difficult problems. To
start this procedure, the paper sensor must be open by placing a
piece of paper in the manual paper feed slot before you turn the
machine on. The test is complete when power is turned off.

To run the test:

1. Turn the machine off and move the two pin jumper on connector

J13 to the pin position shown below.

2. Turn the machine on to start the test. Turn power off or unplug

the printer to stop the test.

3. Return the jumper to its original pin position after completing the

test.
