Note!
After changing of the switch position, the new setting has to be read in to the device. For
this purpose the reset button has to be pressed for a minimum of two seconds. The new
settings are stored and the device is restarted. After that, the transparent front screen has
to be remounted.

Starting the unit when the single beam safety light barrier is
interrupted
The test monitoring unit TMC 66 can be released also in cases where e.g. after an
emergency stop of the unit the single beam safety light barrier stays interrupted by
remaining goods on the conveyor belt.
To enter this so called "release-mode" first disconnect the supply voltage. The release
mode can then be activated by reconnecting the supply voltage to the TMC 66.
The release mode is used for applications where the TMC 66 is connected to throughbeam
or retro-reflective photo electric sensors. When connected to a PLC, the TMC 66 can be
released without disconnecting the supply voltage.
