4.6 - Guide to settings

This guide to settings is designed to help you customise your inverter and to highlight functions which are described
in detail in section 4.5.2.

Selecting inverter commands

PRINCIPAL SETTINGS

Run, reverse, stop the motor.

Adjustment of the frequency.

Adjustment of the torque.

Stop the motor in the event of a fault.

• Via terminal block if b9 = 1.
• Via the operator panel if b9 = 0.

• Via the terminal block if b9 = 1 :

- local (voltage) : terminal C11 not connected to the 0V,
- remote (mA) : terminal C11 connected to the 0V.

• Via the operator panel if b9 = 0.
• Via terminal C5 if b9 = 1.

• Via the terminal block if b9 = 1.

• Automatic restarts : number depending on P50,

delay depending on P51.

• Restart after reset if P50 = 0.

Adjustment of the acceleration time.

Adjustment of the acceleration torque.

• Acceleration ramp :

- via P2 for the reference
- via P30 to P36 for the preset speeds

• BOOST (torque optimisation at low speed) via P6.

- fixed value if b3 = 1,
- automatic adjustment if b3 = 0.

Selection of the inverter frequency range.

Selection of minimum and maximum operating speeds.

Maintain the frequency under load.

• Selection of the maximum frequency range and the switching
frequency : b14.

• Selection of the maximum motor frequency : P1.
• Selection of the minimum motor frequency : P0.

• Slip compensation : via P7.

Display of the inverter frequency or load.

Display of faults.

• Output frequency if b8 = 0.

• The last ten trips are stored in PA.

Motor protection.

• Maximum overload current : P4.
