3. If you are installing a new slim optical drive, press the two metal clips

to remove the plastic clip with

the two screws as shown. Remove the two screws and then go to step 4.

If you are replacing an old slim optical drive, do the following:

a. Press the button as shown to remove the slim optical drive from the flex module.
