Where:
hostname/IP
address
:
Sets
the
hostname
or
IP
address
of
the
target
station.
tries
:
Sets
the
number
of
attempts
(optional).
msec
delay
:
Sets
the
number
of
milliseconds
between
attempts
(optional).
length
:
Sets
the
ping
request
payload
size
(optional).
source
IP
address
:
Sets
the
IP
source
address
for
the
IP
packet
(optional).
ttl
:
Sets
the
Time
to
live
in
the
IP
header.
tos
:
Sets
the
Type
of
Service
bits
in
the
IP
header.
dont
fragment
:
Sets
the
don’t
fragment
bit
in
the
IP
header
(only
for
IPv4
addresses).
By
default,
the
management
port
is
used.
To
use
a
specific
port,
use
the
following
options:
data

Note:
The
DNS
parameters
must
be
configured
if
specifying
hostnames.
