8. Align the holes in the new integrated camera with the mounting studs on the bracket as shown. Then,
press the integrated camera into the bracket until it snaps into position.

9. Position the integrated camera bracket over the front bezel so that the screw hole in the camera bracket
aligns with the corresponding hole in the front bezel. Then, install the screw to secure the camera
bracket to the LCD front bezel.

10. Connect the cable to the new integrated camera. See “Parts on the system board” on page 34.

Replacing the system board and the heat sink
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 “Read this first: Important safety information” on page 1.
Note: Each computer has a unique Vital Product Data (VPD) code stored in the nonvolatile memory on
the system board. After you replace the system board, the VPD must be updated. To update the VPD,
see “Updating the BIOS” on page 65.
