Connecting the Hydraulic System (Hydraulic

Braking System)

Attention, danger of injury!

Maintenance and repair work on the braking system of the
machine may only be carried out by trained expert
personnel. Depressurise the system before starting any work
on the hydraulic braking system.

The machine can be equipped with a hydraulic brake according
to the legal regulations of the delivery country.

Please observe in this context the national regulations of the
country in which the machine is to be used.

7.7 Manually

operated

brake

Caution, risk of fire!

Do not begin a journey with the machine attached unless the
manually operated brake has been completely released.
Otherwise there is danger of fire by brakes running hot (e.g.
in the field).

In some countries, an independent manually operated brake is
prescribed. Please observe in this context the national
regulations of the country in which the machine is to be used.

(Figure 26) The crank handle for operating the manually
operated brake is located on the right side of the maintenance
platform.

Caution, danger of accident!

Machines not attached to the tractor must be secured
against accidental rolling away by applying the manually
operated brake and by means of wheel chocks.

Turning the crank clockwise =

applies the manually operated brake

Turning the crank counterclockwise =

releases the manually operated brake

Before uncoupling the machine from the tractor: apply the

manually operated brake.

After coupling the machine to the tractor: release the

manually operated brake
