Safety Directions

During the transport, shipping or disposal of batteries, it is possible for inappropriate
mechanical influences to constitute a fire hazard.

Precautions:

When transporting shipping, or disposing batteries, the person in charge of the
product must ensure that the applicable national and international rules and regula-
tions are observed. Before transportation or shipping contact your local passenger
or freight transport company.



Charging or operating the battery at temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C is not
allowed since it may damage the battery.

Precautions:

Only charge the battery in well-ventilated areas because it can produce explosive
gases. Connect the battery to the battery charger only when the charger is turned
off. Fire, smoking, and sparking near the battery are not allowed.

Corrosive hazard:

Battery acid is highly corrosive.

Precautions:

Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Do not tilt battery, acid can
escape from the degassing openings or vents.
