7.8 Adjusting Motorized Polarizer

• Turn it until maximum darkness is reached.
7.9 Adjusting the Light Sources
Transmitted Light Axis (TL) with 107/2 Lamp
housing
The 107/2 lamp housing with 12 V 100 W halogen
lamp has a defined presetting. The lamp need
not to be centered.
Incident light axis (IL) with 106 z lamp housing
• When a supply unit is used, it is turned on
first.
• Activate the incident light axis using the
TL/IL
function key.
FLUO
(Leica DM6000 B) or
IL
(Lei-
ca DM6000 M) appears in the LeicaScreen.
• Insert the reflector cube for lamp adjustment
(Fig. 52) into the filter turret in place of a filter
cube. (See
→
p. 31).
Note the name of the exchanged filter cube.
Note:
To avoid incorrect adjustment, we recommend
to remove the filter cube on the left side of the
reflector cube.
• Turn the reflector into the beam path.
The reflector has reached the correct position
when the name of the exchanged filter cube is
shown in the upper right of the LeicaScreen .
