4. Instrument Setup
4.2 Basic instrument/hardware

• It is the user's responsibility to make sure that a compatible electromagnetic environment
is maintained so that the instrument can work as intended.
• The instrument requires an installation area of approx. 700 x 800 mm.
• The substrate must have a sufficient load capacity and rigidity with respect to the weight
of the instrument.
• Relative humidity 80 % maximum - non-condensing.
• Room temperature consistently b15 °C and +40 °C.
• Elevation: Up to a max. of 2000 m above sea level.
• Ambient pressure from 740 hPa to 1100 hPa.
• The instrument is designed for indoor use only.
• The power supply must be within the range of the length of the power cable. No extension
cable may be connected.
• The instrument
MUST
be connected to a grounded power socket.
• Use only one of the provided power cables that is intended for the local power supply.
• Avoid vibrations, direct sunlight and heavy variation in temperature.
4.2.1 Installation site requirements
CAUTION!
The chemicals to be used in the
ASP6025
are easily inflammable and hazardous to health.
Therefore the installation location must be well ventilated, and must contain no open flames. The room in
which the instrument is located must not be used as a permanent station for people. Otherwise the room must
be equipped with an exhaust device.
The installation location must be protected against electrostatic discharge.
The instrument must be set up so that the power switch on the rear side of the instrument (
Fig. 3, item 37
) and
the power plug are easily accessible at all times.
Do not operate the instrument in rooms with explosion hazard.
To ensure proper functioning of the instrument, it must be set up while maintaining a minimum distance of
10 cm from walls and furniture.
After unpacking the instrument, the instrument must be handled only by
the handles (26) on the rear side (
Fig. 3
) to move it to its final location. After-
wards, the brakes must be applied to the instrument's castors.
