operation procedures carefully to prevent any damage to the switch or to any other devices.
Easy Management
The unit is an 8/16 ports CAT5 KVM console switch that allows both local and extend operators to monitor and
access multiple servers from a single console (Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor). They are designed with the
intelligent video Gain/EQ (equalizer) adjustments to tweak the video image individually for each server so that
each server can be 40 meters away from the unit.
Extend Control Distance
The console extender is designed to control the KVM Switch up to 1000 feet away from your keyboard, Mouse
and VGA monitor. The Internal Up-Link port is to synthesize the signals of PS/2 keyboard, PS2 mouse and VGA
monitor for being easily transmit to a CAT5 Dongle at remote over popular Ethernet Cat5 cable. The CAT5
Extension Console Unit gets the synthetic signal and return it back to the signal of PS2 keyboard, PS2 mouse
and VGA monitor respectively. Cat5 STP cable (shielded Twisted Pair) / UTP cable (Unshielded Twisted Pair) or
enhanced cable like Cat5e/Cat6 cable is applied to LAN network popularly.
The Cat5 KVM designed with the RGB skew adjustment for 1000 feet application and support real time access
server. Besides, CAT5 KVM Extender is utilized with popular CAT5 cable or existed CAT5 cable layout systems
in the building but it is not apply LAN protocol to CAT5 cable. There is more reliable security on CAT5 KVM
Extender to avoid hacker intruding the PCs.
Access PC from Anywhere
This Switch offers a slot for connecting IP Remote Console module: The KVM over IP Module. It redirects local
keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor data to a remote administration console and allows you to control one or
many computers locally at the server site or remotely via the Internet using a standard browser. You can
securely gain BIOS level access to systems for maintenance, support, or failure recovery over the Internet.
Communication is secure via SSL authentication and encryption. Use in conjunction with a KVM switch for
multiple-server access.
