5. Assemble the power supply shelf using a 6-point star driver and install on the mechanism. Once
assembled, the power supply shelf connects to and hangs on the motor pin using the “ear” like feature.
•
Identify the three parts required for assembly --- a bracket, 6-point star drive screw and shelf (F
IGURE
5).
•
Align the tabs on the bracket to the attachment holes in the shelf and push the bracket away
from the shelf to join the two parts (F
IGURE

7). Use a 6-point star driver and the
6-point star drive screw to secure the assembly (F
IGURE
8). Tighten screw to secure the connection.
•
Carefully turn the unit back, to rest on its backside.
•
Look for the cutout in the dust cover and locate the motor pin (F
IGURE
9); the shelf attaches
directly to this pin, on each side of the motor mounting bracket. For styles with two cutouts and
motor mount pins, the shelf may be attached to either one, whichever is closest to the electrical outlet.
•
Make sure the pin is approximately centered, with pin surface on each side of the motor mounting
bracket to attach the shelf (F

10). Adjust the pin and center as required.
•
Align the shelf bracket to the motor pin, locating the “ears” outside the motor bracket, between
the pin and square tube, and move the shelf assembly into position until the “ear” feature makes
contact with the motor pin, and “stops” (F
IGURE
11).
•
Lift the shelf assembly up until the motor pin is positioned all the way to the back of the bracket
“ears”. (F

12). Then rotate shelf downward, toward the back of unit, to lock in position (F
