Use the drop-down options to assign an
Output Queue
value to each
DSCP class
. The queue values run from
1
to
4
where
4
= highest priority and
1
= lowest priority. Therefore, the correct setup is as follows:

DSCP 56 (C7)
= PTP clock signals =
4
(highest priority).
·
DSCP 46 (EF)
= RAVENNA media streams =
3
(second highest priority).
·
All other DSCP classes =
1
or
2
(low priority).
Note that the other DSCP classes are not important to RAVENNA, but may be used to prioritise other network
traffic such as Voice-over-IP. Therefore, you should consult your network administrator before determining the
usage of values
