RAVENNA streaming uses IPv4 multicast (as opposed to unicast). It also requires IGMPv2 snooping to be
enabled, and ports to be filtered (to prevent the forwarding of unwanted network traffic). This requires a number of
settings to be adjusted:

In a multicast network, packets sent from a single device can be received by multiple nodes at the same time
(i.e. one to many). The
Forwarding Method
can be left as the
MAC Group Address
. You would use the
IP
Group Address
options if the switch has been configured for multiple vLANs.
