Switching RINSE+ on and off
When
r+
(RINSE+) is switched on, there are two additional rinses in
the
c
(COTTONS/LINEN),
m
(EASY-CARES),
d
(DELICATES) and
j
(GENTLE RINSE) programmes.
r+
(RINSE+) remains permanently saved
– even after the appliance is switched off.
To switch on
r+
(RINSE+):
1. Turn the programme knob to
c
(COTTONS/LINEN),
m
(EASY-CARES) or
d
(DELICATES) (at any temperature).
2. Hold down the buttons
v
(PRE-WASH) and
Q
(QUICK WASH) at the
same time, until
r
(RINSE) and
r+
(RINSE+) light up on the pro-
gramme progress display.
r+
(RINSE+) is now permanently switched
on.
r+
(RINSE+) is lit on the programme progress display before the start
of the programme and during the additional rinses.
To switch off
r+
(RINSE+):
1. Turn the programme knob to
c
(COTTONS/LINEN),
m
(EASY-CARES) or
d
(DELICATES) (at any temperature).
2. Hold down the buttons
v
(PRE-WASH) and
Q
(QUICK WASH) at the
same time, until
r+
(RINSE+) goes out on the programme progress
display.
r+
(RINSE+) is now permanently switched off.
Starting a programme
1. Check that the water tap is open.
2. Press the S/P (START/PAUSE) button. The programme is started.
During the wash programme, the current programme step is displayed
on the programme progress display.

If the S/P (START/PAUSE) button is pressed and the E (END) indica-
tor flashes 4 times, the door is not closed properly. Push the door firmly
closed and press the
S/P (START/PAUSE) button again.
