Changing the spin speed/Selecting rinse hold
The washing machine suggests the
maximum permitted spin speed
that is suitable for the selected pro-
gramme. You can reduce this spin
speed:
To do this press the Spin/
n
(RINSE
HOLD) button repeatedly until the
desired indicator lights up.

The speed for the final spin can still be altered during the programme.
To do this:
1. Press the
S/P
(START/PAUSE) button.
2. Change the spin speed.
3. Press the
S/P
(START/PAUSE) button again.

(RINSE HOLD)
If
n
(RINSE HOLD) is used, the washing remains submerged in the final
rinse water. There is no final spin, only an intermediate spin. The inter-
mediate spin cycle depends on the selected programme and cannot be
changed.
Selecting the programme options
If desired, press the programme op-
tion button(s). The corresponding
light lights up.
Warm pre-wash before the main
wash that follows automatically;
with intermediate spin for
c
(COTTONS/LINEN) and m (EASY-CARES), without intermediate spin for
d DELICATES.
For treating heavily soiled or stained washing. In-wash stain treatments
are washed in at the optimum time as the programme progresses.
Shortened wash cycle for lightly soiled washing.
