Detector Temperature
Some types of detector head have a temperature sensor and the ADM-1000
will show the detector temperature on the display as shown in diagram 2.
If the detector temperature exceeds a preset level the temperature indication
will flash as a warning that continued use may permanently damage the
detector.
The temperature sensor is usually fitted as close to the detector as
practicable but it should be borne in mind that the sensor’s response gives an
average indication and may it not be able to give adequate warning if the
detector suddenly sees an excessively large potentially damaging signal.
Head Information
Press Menu. Scroll down to Info. Select Head and press
to display
information about the head including serial number, type and last calibration
date.
Instrument Information
Press Menu and scroll down to Info. Select Instrument and press
.
Information about the ADM-1000 meter is displayed including model, software
version and last calibration date.
