PLACE CALIBRATION TROUGH IN COLLECTION POSITION OR PLACE TARP UNDER

FRONT OF MACHINE. REFER TO SEED CHARTS ON THE SEED BOX COVERS TO

DETERMINE INITIAL SEED METER SETTINGS. IF YOU NEED TO ADJUST SEED

METERS FOR REDUCED OUTPUT WHILE THEY ARE FILLED WITH SEED, THE SEED

METER SHAFT MUST BE TURNED WHILE MAKING THE ADJUSTMENT.

FRONT SEEDBOX

1. IDENTIFY LOWEST TRANSMISSION RANGE EXPECTED TO ACHIEVE SEED RATE

2. ADJUST SEED METER SETTING

3. REMOVE SEED DRIVE DISCONNECT PIN - FRONT BOX

4. PRIME METERS: TURN 5/8" HEX FOR FRONT BOX CALIBRATION CW UNTIL ALL

METERS ARE DISCHARGING SEED. EMPTY CALIBRATION TROUGH OR TARP

5. COUNTING REVOLUTIONS, TURN THE 5/8" HEX CW TO METER OUT SEED

6. WEIGH THE SEED

7. CALCULATE SEED RATE:

LBS OF SEED x A 252 (LOW RANGE)

SEED RATE (LBS / ACRE) = ------------------------------ A= 528 (MID RANGE)

CALIBRATION REVS 771 (HIGH RANGE)

8. ADJUST METERS AND RE-CALIBRATE AS NECESSARY

9. ENSURE TRANSMISSION IS SET UP FOR PROPER SEEDING RANGE

10. RE-INSTALL SEED DRIVE DISCONNECT PIN - FRONT BOX

11. RE-INSTALL CALIBRATION TROUGH IN SEEDING POSITION
